POETRY FEATURED ARTIST CONTRIBUTORS GUIDELINES ABOUT TIMELINE
Brittany Vogel

y Powerful Women series is my way of amplifying the stories, lessons, and achievements of remarkable women in history; women whose names deserved more than a single line in a textbook. Growing up, I learned very little about the women who shaped the world around me. So this series became my research, and my way of sharing what I found in a visual form.

Each painting starts with my signature expressive line drawing, rendered in bold black and white paint so the woman's presence pulls you in from across the room. Behind her, I build an analog collage that map her struggles, milestones, and triumphs. Then I paint over the collage, adding one more layer of meaning, because no one's story is ever really finished being told.

I don't just want you to look at these women. I want you to be inspired by them. I want a glance at one of these paintings, hanging in your home or office, to remind you of your own strength on the days you need it most.

This is an act of remembrance and celebration. These works are an invitation for all of us to claim our space and thrive.

If one of these women speaks to you, bring her home. Originals, fine art prints, and gift shop pieces like tote bags and mugs featuring the Powerful Women series are all available now at www.BrittanyVogelArt.com/Powerful-Women. Come see who's waiting for you.
